3 month photos

Yes, I know Jameson is not 3 months anymore, but I'm just now getting around to posting his 3 month pictures! My great friend, Wendy Kivett, is a fabulous photographer and has been the one taking his pictures (she's also the one that did my maternity pictures too!) SPRING!

I had a coupon for a free picture at The Picture People so I took advantage of that and went with the kiddos to get their pictures taken in their Easter outfits. I know it's not Easter yet, but what a great way to have a lasting picture of them in their adorableness!

I wish it wasn't so little-but I got this from the website and it's the only size I could get it at! But it gives you an idea at least! :)

LOVE this one-I was a bit terrified that Lily would let go of him, but she did great!

I love having a boy so I can put a little tie on him!! It's SO fun!!

They both did great! And the best part is that I got a free picture out of it! Happy Spring!

BIG boy!

Jameson had his 4 month check up today-which included shots, poor baby! He weighed in at 17.5 lbs (90th percentile) and is 27.5 inches long!! (97th percentile!) This boys is HUGE! Unfortunately, he still isn't sleeping through the night. He should though since his belly is so large! But lately he's only been giving me 5 hour stretches. This isn't horrible, but after putting him to bed at 10pm and getting a wake-up call at 3 am hurts me! Plus, I know Jameson can go longer because he has! On many occasions he's gone for at least 7 hours without eating. So his doctor said to let him cry it out! Not sure if I can do this quite yet. I will admit that as soon as I hear him fussing I go to him immediately. But this is because I really don't want him to wake Lily up-I mean, they share a wall! But I think I'll try to let him fuss for a while and see if he can just go back to sleep. If this doesn't work I'll probably need to turn on a fan or something in Lily's room at night so that we can let Jameson cry it out-which I hate! I know it'll be hard for me to listen to! I'm really hoping he'll make this change fast and without too many tears. I'm just a softie :) Anyway, just a couple of pictures of my little man (or BIG man I should say!)Such a sweet boy! He fell asleep on Lily's beanbag chair-and if she saw this picture I'm pretty sure she'd freak out since it's her chair!! Oh well :)

Trip to the Dentist!

Lily went to the dentist for the FIRST time last week! She did amazingly well too!! I was so impressed with her! She sat very still while her teeth were cleaned and she even let them do x-rays of her teeth too! My mom actually works for the dentist (and the dentist happens to go to our church too!) so it helped that Lily was familiar with the place :) Just a couple of photos to document her first trip to the dentist!

Right before her teeth are cleaned-had to have her baby and blanket with her too!Glasses she had to wear to protect her eyes from the light. They happened to have matched her outfit perfectly too-not that it matters, but it was fun!"Say aaaaah"Doing so well at sitting still!

The only time Lily was afraid was when her chair was being moved into the laying down position! She thought she was going to fall. I assured her she'd be just fine and she relaxed after that. I'm so proud of my little girl!!

4 Months!

Once again, I can't believe another month has gone by and now Jameson is 4 months old!! He is such a joy and has such a fun personality!

*Starting to move out of 6-9 month clothes! He's so long that onesies and pants don't fit him lengthwise but they do at the waist!

*Holds his head up really well!

*Laughed for the first time a couple weeks ago and I finally made him laugh yesterday!

*Still sleeps a good 6 hour stretch, but lately is getting up more frequently....which is sad. Must be going through a growth spurt!

*And is teething already-at least showing signs of it! He is drooling like crazy and will find his hands and stick them in his mouth 24/7! This is way earlier than with Lily!

Look Who's Cooing!

AJ got Jameson to laugh for the first time last week!!! It was adorable! And of course by the time I got the camera out to record he wouldn't laugh anymore. But you do hear him cooing and "talking" with AJ! And sorry the video is so dark!

Lily's Birthday Parties

Lily is one loved girl! On her actual birthday we had the family over for a birthday lunch to celebrate Lily. She got lots of great stuff and LOVED being the center of attention! (wonder where she gets that from?!) With all of her gifts!Giving her auntie Andrea some loveShe loves her new bean bag chair from Grandma and Grandpa!And her very own watch from Auntie Leandra and Uncle (almost!) Kevin And a fun, new umbrella from her Papa and Nana!When I asked Lily what she wanted for her birthday (cake, cupcakes, etc.) she said "pop-a-sicles." I love that she says that for popsicles! Anyway, I stuck 3 candles in a fudge bar and we all sang. She thoroughly enjoyed her "pop-a-sicle" while the rest of us had brownie sundaes! A couple of days later, Lily had a few of her friends over for a princess dress-up party. My sweet Cinderella! (My mom purchased this dress for her in Disneyland when we were there. Opening gifts-it was so hard to take a good picture because I was trying to help Lily open her presents too! Oh well, you get the point :)
