I was right....

All along I thought I was having a boy, and sure enough:

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My computer/scanner isn't working (UGH!) so I had to take a picture of my ultrasound pictures! Anyway, all looks well as far as we can tell! Lily was actually wanting another brother, even though early on she wanted a sister! So, it all works out! And since my sister is having a boy, now our boys can be buddies since they'll only be 3 months apart! SO fun! Now, if only we had a name! Boy names are especially hard for us. So, if you have any suggestions, send 'em our way! Doesn't he have the cutest profile?! :)

Music Man

Jameson is a music lover! This boy has got rhythm running through his body nonstop. Whenever he hears a song, whether it's on the TV, the radio, a cell phone ringing, etc., he starts shaking his body. If he's near his guitar and hears music he'll run and grab his guitar and "jam" along to it. It's so adorable! I really think this boy will be some sort of music prodigy. Ok, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here! But, I do think music will be a part of his life somehow-he takes after his daddy! Enjoy this 50 second clip of Jameson jamming along. Play close attention to his face! Hilarious! :)

Easter 2012 (and picture overload)

What a fun Easter weekend we had! This year the kids are way more into doing Easter activities than years past. It's been fun! Of course, this is by no means WHY we celebrate Easter. Sure, egg hunts, candy, dyeing eggs, etc. is really fun, but the REAL reason is because Christ died for our (my!) sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day! I'm SO eternally thankful He chose me to be His child and one day I get to spend eternity with Him! 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures." Praise God!

We started out Easter weekend with making resurrection rolls and dyeing eggs. The rolls are big marshmallows, dipped in butter, rolled in cinnamon/sugar, and a crescent roll wrapped around it. As we made them, I was talking to the kids (mainly Lily as Jameson doesn't quite understand the whole story!) of why Jesus died for our sins, and how he was buried but rose again!

Jameson actually did a great job at this...I was a little worried with how messy he'd be!

 Concentrating so hard!
And the finished product! Not as cute as the photo on pinterest (where I found this recipe on!) but, it worked. And mainly because the kids wrapped up the marshmallow without completely sealing it all up. But, I kinda like how it turned out because you can see inside the roll and see that the marshmallow is gone-just like Jesus' body was gone in the tomb! It was a fun activity and one I hope to do in the years to come! After the rolls we dyed some eggs! Again, a bit nervous with Jameson, but he did great!

And yes, my children have no shirts on. It's how we roll.
The finished eggs-they did great!
The next day was the Easter egg hunt at our church. We were so thankful for a beautiful day! It was a bit chilly, but I'll take sunny and cold over rain any day!
Gotta love his cheesy grin. But, he really was saying "cheese" when I told him to!
 Jameson with his buddy Milah.
Lily and her good friend Zoe. Love that they're holding hands!

On the hunt! He was satisfied after only 6 eggs. Worked for me cause that meant he got less candy!
Lily got a ton though!
After the hunt we went to AJ's parent's house for a delicious brunch! The kids (and AJ and I too!) went on a fun hunt. But I completely forgot to take pictures!!
Easter Sunday! LOVE these kids SOOO much!

I love that Lily's face is hiding behind my belly!
Our little family of four (but not for too much longer!)
We had lunch at my parents' after church. And the kids (and us adults too!) also went on a hunt. Forgot to take pictures of that again. But, here's us ladies!
Pregnant sisters! Love being pregnant at the same time as Leandra. She's due in June with a boy! And I'm 17 weeks pregnant here and find out in 2 weeks from today what we're having! My guess is boy....we shall see! :)
