Someone Got a Haircut!

Ahhhh, short hair is SO much better! I was tired of fighting with her each morning about her hair. She hated when I would brush it and would never let me put it up to get it out of her face. So, we chopped it! Lily did so well sitting still while her hair was cut too! Here's to less tears and an easier 'do!

3 Months!

Seriously, it feels like I JUST posted about Jameson being 2 months old-and now he's 3! Crazy! Some facts on the BIG man:

*Still sleeping great during the night! I get about 6 hours and sometimes longer. I'm to the point where I don't require a nap during the day :)
*Great eater-as you can tell by looking at his tummy!
*Doesn't love his tummy time, but loves laying on his back and looking up at toys (usually while squealing with delight!)

*In 6-9 month clothes now-did I mention he's only 3 months?!

*Smiles so easily-especially if you whistle to him (my mom found this trick! Thanks mom!)

*Loves his sister-except for when she hurts him (still doing this, but not as often, ugh.)

*He's very content to just lay around and look at his surroundings. The only time he cries is when he's hungry, tired, or poopy. He's such a great baby!

Is it just me or does he look like a GIANT in my arms?!

You may be wondering "why is she in a suitcase?" Well, it's because tomorrow night we leave for DISNEYLAND!!!! We had our suitcases out to pack and she thought it'd be fun to sit in one and have AJ wheel her around the house. Please excuse her clothes too. This girl loves to change her outfits a bazillion times a day and she chose these tights and a gray shirt that is also on backwards. Awesome. Love this girl!

Yup, that's Jameson asleep! He had just spit up on me and some got on the carpet. I set him here on the couch while I went a grabbed a rag to clean it up. Well, when I came back he was fast asleep! I was gone for maybe 1 minute! Apparently he was too tired to stay awake for long! And I especially love his double chin!! Last night he slept from 10:30pm until 8:00am!!! It was AMAZING! Oh how I love my BIG boy!!

Oldies but Goodies

Back in October, Lily went to her very good friend's house for her 3rd birthday. All the girls that came wore princess dresses and played and had lunch. It's so fun that she's old enough to be a part of these little parties! Anyway, my bad for not blogging about it sooner-can I still play the "I was pregnant" card?! :) Cute princesses! The birthday girl, Zoe, is the one with the crown, Lily in the back and Hailey up front. All the girls blowing bubbles! And 3 of them are Snow White-not planned! I love this picture even if they aren't all looking at me! It just cracked me up that these girls still wanted to play on the swing set in their little dress up clothes! Being a girl is fun!

I was HUGE?!! This was taken the night before I went in to have my c-section! As much as I loved being pregnant, I'm really glad I'm not anymore! It's way more fun having Jameson to hold in my arms instead of in my giant belly!!

Stats

Jameson had his 2 month appt. yesterday and he is BIG! He weighed in at 14 lbs. 7 oz. and is 26 inches long!! He is in the 97% for weight and off the charts for height! He's becoming just like his daddy that's for sure! He also got 3 shots and screamed during them-I really hate that! But he was most afraid of the tissue paper they had on the exam table! Just him moving around and making noise on that paper freaked him out! Lily never had that problem, but Jameson was not a happy camper. I finally layed a blanket on the table and him on top of that and it helped some. Anyway, just wanted to update on his ginormousness! :) And yes, I know that's not a word!

2 Months!!

Jameson is 2 months old today!! Time is going so fast-and I know I'll be saying that with each month too! He is SO big and keeps growing like a weed! We go tomorrow for his 2 month check-up so I'll be sure to update you all on his weight and height. Things he is doing at 2 months:
*Holds his head up really well!

*Still has that beautiful red hair! I really hope it stays!

*Sleeping so wonderfully at night now! Yahoo! There have been many times where I've gotten a 6 hour stretch-I honestly feel like a new woman when I wake up!

*I still have to wake him up during the day to feed him. There have been times where he has woken up, but it's mainly me reminding him that it's time to eat. I think since I've been waking him to eat, it has helped him go longer at nights.

*Still in 3-6 month clothes, but is slowly moving his way out of those. In fact, I was just putting away his smaller clothes and happened to be looking ahead at bigger clothes. A lot of them look like he can wear them now!

*Smiling ALL the time! It's so fun to see his personality come out a bit. He loves to lay on the floor and look at this butterfly toy that sits above his head and he just talks while looking at it. It's adorable!

*Lily still loves her brother-most of the time! She definitely tests us to see if she'll get in trouble for loving on him "too hard!" But she is sweet to him 90% of the time!

He has such cute outfits that I have to take a picture of him in them! His face isn't the greatest in this one, but he looks like a little man!

Another outfit-I loved his guitar overalls! And I think he looks so much like my brother-it's so weird!

And this was his Christmas outfit-love the little smirk on his face!

Not the greatest picture of these two, but I had to take one of them in their shirts! Lily's says "Big sisters are the coolest" and Jameson's says "I'm the little brother."

Jameson has been finding his thumb lately...it's cute now but I hope he doesn't get attached to it later in life! He still takes the binky great-so hope we can just use that as necessary. But I just loved how he fell asleep on AJ sucking his thumb!

Christmas Festivities (part 2)

Christmas morning we woke up and had Lily open her presents from us. We kinda talked about Santa this year, but she just wasn't into it-she wouldn't even sit on his lap when we visited him! Maybe next year Santa will be a hit!Before opening presents AJ read the story of Jesus' birth out of the Bible. She listened ok and then ran to grab her picture Bible to follow along with what AJ read. It was pretty cute. She only lasted about 5 minutes though! We will do this every year too!

In matching jammies! They (well, Lily only) opened hers on Christmas Eve. I had this tradition growing up and will do it with my kids too! It's so fun!

"Yay I got tape!" This girl is obsessed with tape! So I thought why not give her some tape of her own to play with instead of taking all of mine! She was thrilled!

After presents at our house we headed over to my parent's house and had Christmas there...with MORE presents! We were spoiled!!I was excited about my new Starbucks cup from my brother!I was a bit scared she'd throw him to the ground during this picture-but she did ok!And Jameson got presents too-this one with an ornament of his face to put on our tree-so fun!Looking stylish in a new shirt from AJ and I-it says "I'm bring chubby back!" What a great Christmas we had! And we're SO lucky to have BOTH families live close to us that we can spend so much time with them and not have to travel far to see them!

Anyway, here he is singing along to the words in the book (and being really funny while doing it!) You all (my 5 readers!) probably won't find it as funny as we did! Oh well! And the REALLY loud laughing at the end is my husband :)
