Welcome!

Hello to my friends and family. I thought I'd try out this 'blog' thing to update you on the Acker life. Yes, I know I see most of you every day and you already know about us, but I thought this might be kind of fun-especially for you out of town folks! I guess this is part of my 'new year's resolution'! To update you all on us!

Now that the holidays are over, it's nice to get back to the normal swing of things. Just in the last couple of days I'm finding miss Lily isn't wanting to do her morning naps-dang it! I love that time to drink coffee, shower, get ready, etc. So today I didn't shower until 12! Oh well! I'll have to figure something out I guess! But she's sleeping really good at night and didn't wake up this morning until 8:45! It's wonderful for me!

Busy day for me today...grocery shopping, eyebrow wax (yes, it's important to me!), make a meal for the Steiner's who just had a baby!, and make dinner for my family! If I was rich, I'd make someone grocery shop for me! I don't know why I hate it so much...but I do. But someone's gotta do it. And really, I'm quite lucky, because most of the time AJ comes along with me and he bags all those groceries! But today he's got all sorts of meetings so it's just me and Lily. Although AJ's sister has this week off from school so maybe I could get her to watch Lily...hmm.

Well, I'll try doing this every so often and update you all. Maybe even 2 times a week! I promise it won't be that interesting, but we'll see! Thanks for reading about us!
