Nov. 11th

Is the day of my c-section!!!

Had my ultrasound today and the measurements showed my little guy (well, not so little!) is estimated at weighing 11 pounds!!!! Unbelievable!!! Needless to say, there is no way I want to push that out! So my c-section is scheduled for this Wednesday at 12 noon. Not what I want, but it's better than trying to push him out and have him get stuck. I also don't like the fact that I'll be in the hospital for twice as long-especially since Lily can't come visit! I don't know if I've said on here before or not, but no one under 18 is allowed to visit at the hospital because of the terrible flu season. Poor me and poor Lily! I'm super bummed, but we were able to borrow webcams so hopefully that will be sufficient for her if she can't see us in person. She is allowed in the waiting room so at least AJ can come out and say hi. But neither me or the baby is allowed out. I know she won't remember this when she's older, but it still makes me sad that she can't be in the hospital room with us! Oh well right? Anyway, that is my update. Crazy that I'll have a baby on Wednesday! And I do love his birth date-11/11! So fun! I'll for sure have time after he's born to post pictures-so be on the lookout! : )

You have every right to be sad that Lily can't come see you and Jameson...I have tears for you! But God will help you get through this and you will be home before you know it with her! Enjoy your day with just her tomorrow! :)

Yay!! Congratulations! :) I am so sorry that Lily can't be there, but what a fun time of celebration you'll have as a new family when you can return home and are feeling a little better! I'll be praying for you!!

Yay Amanda! 11 pounds, that is the craziest thing I've ever heard! I canNOT wait to hear how it goes and see pics! I had a c-section with the twins and, to be honest, it wasn't that bad. There are pros and cons both ways I guess. Good luck!
P.S. Haha, Jackson was looking at "Mommy's Baby" thing on the side of your blog and he goes..."Mommy why is that baby in the dryer?" Hahaaha!

To be honest, I was sort of sad I didn't get to know when he was coming (as exciting as going into labor on your own is) because my sister has known with her last two and has made it a point to spend time the night before with just the family the way it is for the last time. Enjoy your last day as a family of three and take the time to cherish the way it is because everyone knows it will never be the same. (not that that is a bad thing, but you know what I mean, for the rest of your life you will say, "remember when . . .,") Best of luck and can't wait for an update.

Good luck tomorrow and enjoy your last night as a family of 3...soon you will be blessed with a new addition! And I cant imagine how hard it will be not to be able to see Lily but the time will go fast and before you know it you will be home with them all. I was home 2 days after having my c-section (had him on Mon went home on Wed). Just make sure you keep trying to get up and walk around. The sooner you can the sooner you will start healing and they will send you home.
